STITCHED, SEWN AND BEADED (70’S & 80’S)
This tree was inspired by friend, Diane Dings, who's grandmother had passed. She had a beautiful collection of cross stitched ornaments that her grandmother had handmade in the 70's and 80's. Each piece not only showed her talent but also the pride in each piece she created. What an honor for her to entrusted this collection with me.
When I saw this tree with almost 100 big round lights, I knew that this was the tree for my new collection. The tree skirt was from this era, also handmade and perfect! I have added to the tree but everything is handmade by those of our past and reminds us of a simpler time. I have left a few of the original tree also.
